First visit. Initial consultation:
So we can accurately assess your needs on this visit some paperwork is required. Please allow around 45 minutes for your initial consultation. During this consultation your Chiropractor will assess you complaint, history and perform a through examination. If required they may refer you for X-rays. The Chiropractor will take time after this appointment to assess your complaint and their findings before presenting your recommendations for care at your following appointment.
Second visit. Report of Findings
Please allow around 30 minutes for this visit. During this visit your Chiropractor will present you your findings and give you options for care. If you consent to the care plan set by your chiropractor you will then receive your first chiropractic adjustment.
Your regular visits usually take between 10-15 minutes. Sometimes an extended visit may be required and could take between 20-30 minutes.
Our chiropractors work to a tight schedule and have allocated a set amount of time to thoroughly assess your problem. Should you be late to your appointment, you may miss your time and your visit may need to be rescheduled. A call to notify us if you foresee being late is appreciated. Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a missed appointment fee.
Our reception area is an enjoyable place to relax before your appointment. There is plenty of reading material in our relaxed atmosphere. We have filtered water, kid’s corner, feeding lounge, baby change facilities and toilets on premises for your convenience. We work closely in a network of likeminded professionals around the Gold Coast, Tweed Shire and Northern Rivers districts so that you will be referred to the appropriate service as your case indicates.
Health Fund Rebates
Chiropractic care is covered by health funds for health care rebates. However, all private health fund plans are different. Most health funds also do not cover completely what may be recommended by your chiropractor for you achieve your desired results. Please contact your nominated private health care provider to see if you are covered for chiropractic should you wish to claim. We do not have HICAPs facilities on premises for direct claiming. We can email or print you a receipt to forward to your nominated private health care provider for reimbursement.
